I have mentioned it numerous times in previous blog entries, but to judge from recent weeks, the situation is clearer than ever: if you are looking for very much up-close sightings of super rare cheetahs, then there is probably no better place to visit than here. Period.
It is all about balance, making sure that the reserve doesn’t suffer of an over-population of lions. Many private game reserves make the mistake by allowing too many lions to roam the reserve, which ends up pushing out a lot of other cats and predators, and one of them is the cheetah. But there is enough space here for all animals, giving us a unique blend of hundreds of animal species, not just the silly Big5.
So without any further ado, here the photos we took yesterday, when we found the two cheetah brothers … again!
